CIRCLES

Disciples need community space to grow

At Berean, we call our community spaces "Circles". Circles are small groups that primarily meet in homes. These Circles center around the two things that every disciple desperately needs: God's Word and God's people.

Current Circles

We have different groups that meet at different days, times, and locations. Pick one that works best for you. Check with the group leader for the Circle's address and schedule.

FAQ's

On what days of the week do Circles meet?

One of the great things about Circles is that they fit with different schedules. Pick the day and time that works best for you, then select the group nearest to you that works. Please check with the group leader for specific times and details.

How often do Circles meet?

Most Circles meet weekly or every other week. It is up to each Circle’s leader when his or her group meets each week during the year. Some Circles may break during Christmas, spring break, and summer.

How long does each Circle meeting last?

Circles generally meet for an hour-and-a-half to two hours, but each group varies.

Can I join a Circle at any time?

All of our Circles are “open” groups. You can visit or join at any time. You are free to visit other Circles at any point during the semester to determine which group is best for you. We do encourage you to “land” at a group as quickly as you can and try to connect for that semester and then if it isn’t a fit, try another group the next semester.

What goes on at a Circle meeting?

Though each group differs in how they do things, many Circles have social time in the beginning, then they transition to group discussions or Bible study, and then they spend time praying for each other. Some groups also enjoy a meal together when they meet.

Where do my children go while I attend a group?

Childcare is handled differently by each Circle, depending on the needs and preferences of the members of the group. In some Circles, the children join right in the Bible Study. Some Circles choose to take turns watching young children in an adjoining room. Contact the Circle leader for specifics.
